International Women’s day

It was in 1908 that women marched through New York City demanding shorter hours, better pay, and voting rights. International Women’s Day has been observed since the early 1900s during a time of great expansion in the industrialized world. There was a boom in population growth and a rise in radical ideologies.

Our mothers, wives, girlfriends, daughters, sisters, co-workers, and half the population of the world are women of inspiration. I learned love, patience, silence, and strength from the good women in my life.  While women have their unique personalities, deep down they really love you.  If their heart is in something, they give it their all. This blog is to recognize the women in our lives and to remind them of their value especially today.

You may or may not know that this day is historical.  It was 1908 in New York where 15,000 women marched for through New York City demanding shorter hours, better pay, and voting rights.  Since the early 1900s, Women’s International Day was reserved to celebrate women empowerment and to appreciate the efforts they put in to make each task effortlessly successful.

We Appreciate All Women

Women have proved their ability to handle tough situations calmly and intelligently with grace. It was the toughest moments in my life that I recognized women’s strength, therefore, reminding me why a day like this is paramount.

For their contributions, I want to thank women for their knowledge and wisdom.  Your ability to be flexible while putting others first is the reason this day is special.  The women in our lives sometimes do not get thanked as much as they should be.  They are caring, compassionate, and nurturing, but are assertive in times of most need.

This message is for the women in the company. I hope this letter encourages and supports you while reminding you of the differences you make.

On behalf of the company, we want you to know that we appreciate your dedication.  Thank you for giving this company your best.
